Schon viel darüber gehört, aber noch nie mit eigenen Augen gesehen: Schwanzschlagen eines Pottwals. Er hat es nur einmal gemacht und damit deutlich gezeigt, daß er uns nicht da haben wollte. Wir haben ihn dann auch weiterziehen lassen, doch die Begegnung mit diesem Pottwal bleibt in unserer Erinnerung.

I’ve already heard a lot about, but never saw it with my own eyes: tail slapping of a sperm whale. He did it only once, but this sign was clear. He didn’t wanted us around. We let him swim his own way and will keep him in our memories. The photos will help us.

Já ouvi muito sobre isto, mas nunca tinha visto com os meus próprios olhos: cachalote bater com a caudal. Ele só fiz isto uma vês e mostrou-nos claramente que não nos queria a sua volta. Deixamo-no seguir o seu caminho e ele fica para sempre na nossa memória. Os fotos vão ajudar.
