24.11.2016 – Wind proofed

Weather in Madeira can be tricky. We also notice: it’s autumn. In the course of the trip the wind picked up and at the end our Ribeira Brava guests were wind proofed. But it was a nice trip with three different dolphin species. First we met a a small group of reserved Bottlenose dolphins. Pilot whales travelled speedy gen South-East. And one time we observed an interesting duo while they were riding the wave together: Pilot whales and Atlantic Spotted dolphins. And who wonders why I mentioned three dolphin species: Pilot whales and Orcas are the biggest of the dolphins.
