On the last trips before we enter the Christmas holidays we have sighted the three smallest dolphin species present in our clear Atlantic waters. The playful Short-beaked common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) together with Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) and the always illusive Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba). With a chilly wind blowing from North we still had some occasional sunshine moments on our way back to the harbor of Calheta, with happy guests on board.
