We are responsible!
From all life forms we are the ones with the biggest impact on the environment. To progress is always necessary to grow, to leave old traditions behind and to look for new ways.
Today we had on both trips nice sightings with Pilot whales. We were lucky to observe them in their natural habitat. But a cruel tradition (ritual for manhood) soon takes place on the Faroe Islands, during the so called “Grind” they slaughter hundreds of these animals. As a sign of humanity, life should count more than any ritual. We are responsible to protect animals and nature. This is a question of appreciation. We are responsible. That‘s how it is!

We were on the afternoon trip and it was fantastic to see these beautiful creatures so close in their natural environment. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, it was the highlight of our visit to your beautiful island.
