20.09.2024 – As far as Porto Moniz

Today there were different species of dolphin on the first two tours. In the morning we were lucky enough to see three species, happy Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis), sweet Rough-toothed dolphins (Steno bredanensis) and reserved Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus).

On the second tour we observed a large school of Bottlenose dolphins off Ponta do Pargo.

The evening tour went far to the north, as far as Porto Moniz. Beautiful coastline, but unfortunately no dolphins.
