Common and not so common behavior of Pilot whales

On the last trip for the Ribeira Brava before heading to dry dock for it’s next maintenance, nature again repeated it’s cycle, in compensation for the last trip, low on cetacean sightings, today we saw 4 different cetacean species. With a spectacular beginning of two Fin whales. During the observation of this two animals we had one animal at Starboard and another at Portside. After this exciting moment of synchrony with this Baleen whales our Spotter still managed to find Pilot whales, together with Bottlenose dolphins, and while heading back to port we had another escort, a pod of Spotted dolphins accompaigned us ?
