Today we finally got to see them again, Striped dolphin. Since they were feeding, they sprinted around and showed us some spectacular jumps. Their wonderful colourpattern is unique. So no wonder that already the ancient Greeks eternalized them on frescos in their temples.
We also saw a Bottlenose female with her calf surfing in the bow-wave. Since they were so close, we managed so see that the calf had a suckerfish on its right side. These are fish which suckes themselves on bigger fish (like Whalesharks) or on marine mammals. They are found worldwide in warm waters and travel as hitch-hiker with their host animal through the oceans.
