In the last trips, it has happened already a few times, that from land the spotter suspects of Fin-whale (Balaenoptera physalus) sightings but unfortunately it has been difficult to get close to them with our boats. This is one of the hardest baleen whales to get close to, making it necessary a more careful approach. This evasive behaviour together with their fast swimming (that this species have by nature) worked in favour for them during the whaling period, becoming one of the last species to be hunted.
