Coming back to a well-known place after quite a while, feels often like a composition of pleasant anticipation, familiarity and at the same time feeling a bit like a stranger. But the very warm welcome from the colleagues gave me a homelike feeling. Out on the ocean we met Bottlenose dolphins in the morning and in the afternoon. During the second trip of the day we had in addition some Pilot whales and a very high spout, presumably from a Fin whale. We had big hopes to observe these two animals close yet we did not succeed but at least we tried. On our way back Daniel found a plastic grid, which we fished out to dispose it properly in the marina. The Trigger fish we found underneath had to find a new protection.
