Before the start of the 30th anual conference of the European Cetacean Society, witch will gather specialist and scientific debate along the next days, we were blessed with a rare sighting in our waters in front of Porto de Recreio da Calheta, by False-Orcas!! It began with our passive aproach, and the active interaction towards the Ribeira Brava. This pod began by inspecting the hull at first and then we acompanied the pod to East, for some time. We were very LUCKY at sea today!!!?
