            10.02.2018 – Young and curious

Published by Marlene Cabral on February 22, 2018

Two successful trips today, the sightings in the morning were Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) and Short-beaked common dolphins (Delphinus delphis). In the afternoon we saw again Short-beaked common dolphins and on both trips we witnessed spectacular jumps, loops and fast sprints while the dolphins were hunting. In the afternoon trip we had several “juvenil guests” on board that were amazed and quite curious to see and witness the wild life, directly in front of their eyes….

Great dolphin watching, the boat had padded seats which was a great advantage on the not so small waves. The explanations were in german and from an educated biological viewpoint
