In the last couple of days we had so many different nationalities on board, that it often feels like being on an cosmopolitan crosspoint (as airports etc). English, germans, french, russian people, denish and portugese. Today our guest were from Denmark, Germany, Portugal and France. It is great to feel their excitement and dedication for the Ocean and the marine wildlife. Like this, even on a small island in the Atlantic, you always have a part of the international community right beside you and can discuss international subjects like illlegal fishing, whaling ect.
Today we were fascinated by a school of hunting and feeding “common dolphins” off the coast of Jardim do Mar. Later our spotter found us a school of bottlenose dolphins travelling to the west. Both of the species were curious and came close to our boat. A great start in a new day.
