We had a smooth morning with super smooth encounters of our beloved friends, the marine mammals. We observed a kindergarten group of Pilot whales. Always close to Mama`s side was a newborn, still the with visible birth marks. I am sure mom was clear the little one had to stay close to her from the boat removed side, but when the newborn came up it peeked at us. Subsequent we had two Tropical whales close to shore which were as well in a very smooth mode. To our great luck these animals approached us curiously.
The afternoon was turbulent! First we saw a BREACHING Tropical whale, which as well came close to the boat! WOW! While all guests and crew had only eyes for the whale, Pilot whales passed by. The Bottlenose dolphins were reserved, but our Atlantic Spotted dolphins, this happy wild gang was as well in mood to jump. An absolutely beautiful day!
