Claudia’s impressions: Todays sightings: On our way far to the east we were surprised by a small pod of BLAINVILLE BEAKED WHALES. On our way to the ATLANTIC SPOTTED DOLPHINS, a big and active pod, which one of our spotters was always keeping an eye on. Some of the femals of the beaked whales showed up several times nicely. They always put their slim beak up at the surface first, but then they disappeared and we drove further east towards the spotted dolphins. The dolphins were playing in the churning sea, came into our bow and were surfing in the waves.
